Which was of course so very exciting. more so because the ingredient’s in the store are absolutely gorgeous and get me really creative! I picked up some dried sour cherries and I have 2 recipes from them so far! This is one of them, Raw Black Forest Sour Cherry Bliss balls. It uses both Sour cherries and Chocolate Buckinis just to name a few. Recipe calls for:- 1 cup of almond meal 1 heaped tbsp of raw cacao powder 2 tbsp of chia seeds, black or white 3/4 cup of chocolate buckini mix 1 hand full of soaked dried dates (soak in warm water for 10 minutes before commencing recipe) 1 1/2 cup of shredded coconut 1/2 a cup of dried sour cherries Method:- Place almond meal, raw cacao powder, chia seeds & coconut into blender jug and mix on medium speed for 10 seconds until mixed thoroughly. Next add chocolate buckini mix and blend for 5 seconds on low to mix through the mix (you want that nice crunchy texture so don’t blast it). Now add your soaked & strained dates plus sour cherries and blend on medium to high speed until you achieve a sticky consistency. Remove from bowl and form into desired sized bliss balls and store in the refrigerator in an air tight container or jar. Stores for 2 weeks.
